A Beautiful HEART Ministries (ABHM) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life for justice impacted women and girls by focusing on a four-pronged approach: economic advancement,  empowerment, education, and wellness to facilitate change, restore healing and reduce recidivism. ABHM is seeking two Case Managers to provide extensive outreach services to program participants in our Alternative to Incarceration (ATI) Program.

Job Description:

The Case Manager will work as a community-based peer outreach manager to perform assessment on individuals upon their arrest to seek out alternative to incarceration solution for individual. Collaborate with peer specialists to provide overall case management services for clients to help facilitate program referrals and assessments, as needed, and follow up with ABHM, Advisory Board on participants' progress; Work with diverse population in a mutually respectful manner, using a strengths-based approach and most importantly meeting the client's need; Accurately and efficiently document client interactions in a timely manner; Coordinate referrals and facilitate entry into Harm Reduction or substance abuse program based on client's need; Coordinate and facilitate individual education that is responsive to the specific interest and needs of the individuals, which may include a focus on treatment, harm reduction, and/or relapse prevention.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 3-4 years working with justice impacted individuals. Experience with integrated substance abuse assessment and treatment, motivational interviewing techniques; Candidate should be comfortable working and collaborating with law enforcement and as part of a team in a collegial group environment. Superior communication skills and ability to convey information clearly, accurately, and completely are required. Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor when handling difficult contacts. Strong work ethic, particularly in a team setting.

Position Type: Full-time Exempt

Compensation: $65,000 yearly. ABHM offers an excellent benefits package including comprehensive health, free basic dental coverage, vision insurance, short-term and long-term disability. Paid time off includes 14 days of paid vacation, and 12 paid sick days.
