Anne Fabiny, MD

Dr. Anne Fabiny is a fellowship-trained geriatric and longtime advocate for marginalized older adults. She has been an academic medical educator and clinical program builder. She has held leadership positions at Hebrew Rehabilitation Center for the Aged (now Hebrew Senior Life), Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Cambridge Health Alliance in Massachusetts. She is currently a Professor of Medicine at UCSF School of Medicine and recently retired as Associate Chief of Staff for Geriatrics, Palliative and Extended Care at the San Francisco VA Health Care System. She was a John A. Hartford Foundation/West Health and Aging Policy Fellow in 2017 and helped develop an innovation model for housing + medical care the SFVAHCS for older, chronically homeless medically complex older veterans. She is interested in improving the systems that support older adults leaving incarceration.
