A Beautiful HEART Ministries (ABHM) recognize that visitors to our Site is important to us, and that our relationship with you is one that is built upon trust.  With that being said, we will carefully guard any personal information that we may acquire in the course of you visiting our Site. ABHM is therefore providing you with our Policy Notice as it relates to information we may collect while visiting ABHM Site.

This Privacy Policy (the "Privacy Policy") governs all websites, web properties and mobile applications, including widgets, applications and other mobile interactive features) (collectively the "Site") owned and controlled by  A Beautiful HEART Ministries (ABHM ) ("we or us"), This Privacy Policy specifies the types of Personally Identifiable Information (as defined below) that we gather while you are visiting the Site, as well as ways in which we process and disseminate such Personally Identifiable Information.

Your privacy is important to us. We comply with the privacy laws and regulations of the United States of America. We make no representation that this Site is governed by the laws of other nations, or that the Site or any part thereof is appropriate or available for use in other jurisdictions. Individuals who choose to access the Site do so on their own initiative and at their own risk, and are responsible for complying with all local laws, rules and regulations. By using this Site, visitors from outside of the United States of America acknowledge that this Site is subject to U.S. laws and regulations and waive any claims that may arise under their own national laws.

We reserve the right to change, modify, add or remove provisions of this Privacy Policy. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be posted here, and we encourage you to reread this policy in its entirety from time to time.

What Information We Collect

ABHM collects personally identifiable information and non-personally identifiable information from you in a number of ways. Personally identifiable information's generally information that identifies you, such as your name, telephone number, postal address, email address, and birth date. Non-personally identifiable information is information that does not personally identify you, including anonymous information and aggregate data. ABHM uses this information to understand better how visitors use ABHM Site, research  our visitors' demographic, interests, and behavior, provide visitors with customized services and information, improve our promotional and outreach efforts, and for other similar purposes.

Personally Identifiable Information

 

There are certain actions and areas of ABHM Site that requires you to provide personal information, which may include: (a) requesting program materials; (b) joining ABHM Site or creating a user account; (c) submitting a comment; and (d) applying to a ABHM program.

The personal information we collect may consist or include, but not limited to, requesting your name, mobile phone number, email address, username, and birth date. By submitting personal information to us, you agree that we may use the information in accordance with this Privacy Statement. 

If you do submit information to us, we will use that information for the purposes for which it was submitted. For instance, if you join ABHM Site and ask to be placed on our email list, we will use your email address to send you alerts and other messages about topics and developments we think may be of interest to you. Likewise, for any web-based educational projects we may collect and use personally identifiable information in connection with such educational efforts. In order for us to convey educational information to you, we may require a user to provide a name, address, phone number, email address, username, and birth date. Information collected may be used for the promotion of our program activities.

We may also use your information in order ways, such as to contact you about other activities or as otherwise disclosed to you at the point of collection, and we may share or transfer your information with our affiliates and any other organizations or entities for similar purposes. Additionally, to the extent required by applicable federal and state law, we will provide this information to others. We may share personally and non-personally identifiable information with third parties that help manage ABHM Site and database, as well as with our affiliates or third parties.

For example:

  •  If you post a comment on ABHM Site, we will post the screen name under which the submission was made. Certainly, any information you include in a posting will be viewable by visitor to ABHM Site.

  • If in connection with certain aspects of ABHM Site you provide us with your name, address, phone number, mobile number, email address, or  username, we may use this information to contact you about issues that we believe may be of interest to you. We may also share  or transfer this information to other organizations.

 

By submitting this information to us, you give us permission to receive it, review it, edit it, store it, post it on ABHM Site, and use it in appropriate settings designed to advance the mission of ABHM. To protect your privacy, we strongly encourage you not to use any identifying information in your submissions.

User Comments

Please be aware that any personal information you provide in connection with comments you contribute to ABHM Site or any other interactive features we may offer will be visible to other users and visitors to those websites.

Text Messages and Other Points of Contact

If you sign up to receive text messages from us, ABHM may collect, store, and use your mobile phone number to send you such messages. We may also collect and store other personally identifiable information, such as your name, address, phone number, mobile phone number, email address, username, and/or similar information you may opt to provide to us. If you provide us with your email address, we may use it to send you email newsletters and updates from ABHM. In addition, as noted in the afore-mentioned, we may share this information with our affiliates, vendors, and other organizations or entities.

Email Newsletters and Updates

If you sign up to receive email newsletters and updates from ABHM and its affiliates and/or organizations that aid or share ABHM mission, we may collect, store, and use your email address to send you information from ABHM. We may also collect and store other personally identifiable information you give to ABHM, including but not limited to your name, address, phone number, mobile number, email address, username, birth date, and/or similar information you may opt to provide us. If you provide us with your mobile phone number, ABHM may use it to send text messages. In addition, as noted above, we may share this information with affiliates, vendors, and other organizations or entities to advance ABHM mission.

Facebook Conversion Tracking and Custom Audiences

ABHM may use Facebook Conversion Tracking or Custom Audiences to alert you to program information. If you do not want to receive this information on Facebook, please use the functionality of Facebook to remove the information you do not want to receive.

Employment Opportunities

You may choose to apply for employment, an internship position, or to participate in a program with ABHM through online application forms.  Any information you provide to us via email, or online form in this regard may be viewed by ABHM and any third parties who assist ABHM in recruiting, selection, and similar services for the purpose of evaluating your application and/or responding to your employment related inquiry. ABHM may share any or all of the materials you submit to job opportunities with its affiliates, other organizations, and third party service providers.

Other Communication

You may decide to contact ABHM, by email or otherwise, with other inquires or to provide feedback. Any personally identifiable information you provide in connection with such inquires or feedback may be collected and use by ABHM for the purpose of processing and responding to your inquires or feedback.

Credit Cards and Payment

PayPal collects credit card information when you enter into certain types of transactions requiring payment. Credit card information collected by PayPal  take place on a web page that utilize Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. This help protect the donors' financial payment data from fraud.

Non Personally Identifiable Information

ABHM gathers certain broad information about the use of  ABHM Site, including the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the device you use to access our Site, along with the time of your visit and pages you visit. While the intention of such a practice is to calculate Site usage levels and to help us diagnose problems with the Site's servers, we recognize that an IP address is also an online identifier which can be used to create profiles of individuals behind devices.

Cookies

ABHM may use cookies to enhance your experience while using our Site. Cookies are pieces of information used for record-keeping purposes on many website. Your browser probably accepts cookies, since they avoid duplication and help remember information. If you would prefer not to receive cookies, you can alter the configuration of your browser to refuse cookies. If you choose to have your browser refuse cookies, you will be able to use some areas of our Site. We may also use "Web beacons" or "clear GIFs" which are small, invisible images that may be used on our Site or in emails relating to our Site to collect certain information about activity on our Site. In addition when you view a video on our Sites, a third party may also set a "flash cookie"  on your computer. Removing and rejecting browser cookies does not necessary affect third party flash cookies used in connection with our Sites.

ABHM and our service providers may also use Pixel Tags, web beacons clears GIFs or similar means (collectively, "Pixel Tags") in connection with some of our Site pages and HTML-formatted email messages to, among other things, compile aggregate statistics about ABHM Site usage and response rates. A Pixel Tag is an electronic image, often a single pixel (1x1), that is ordinarily not visible to Site visitors and may be associated with cookies on the visitors' hard drives. Pixel Tags do not contain any PII and allow us to count users who have visited certain pages of the Site, to deliver branded services, and to help determine the effectiveness of our promotional or advertising campaigns. When used in HTML-formatted email messages, Pixel Tags can tell the sender whether and when  an email has been opened.

Google Analytics

ABHM uses Google Analytics, a service that uses cookies and tracking code to analyze how visitors use our Site. The information collected (including your browser and operating system, IP address, pages visited on our website, and time spent here) is transmitted to and stored by Google. Google use of our Site in an aggregate manner. Google compiles reports on website activity and provides other related services. Google may transfer this information to third parties that process information on its behalf or as required by law.
